Refrigeration & HVAC Technician

Excel Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Invercargill is seeking an experienced Refrigeration & HVAC Technician that is ready to take their career to the next level. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of commercial and industrial sites, delivering high-quality installations, servicing and maintenance.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving refrigeration and HVAC faults
• Installing and maintaining commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Using technology to efficiently manage and complete work orders
• Sharing knowledge and supporting apprentices with their development
• Conducting planned preventative maintenance and reactive service
• Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong client relationships
• Prioritising health, safety and environmental best practice
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll enjoy variety, take pride in delivering high-quality work and work well within a team environment. Specifically, you’ll require the following:
• Proven experience in commercial or industrial HVAC and refrigeration
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• NZQA Level 4 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Current Electrical Service Technician (EST) Practising Licence
• Approved Refrigerant Handling (Filler’s) Ticket
• Unrestricted New Zealand Driver Licence
