We’ve got an exciting opportunity available to join the team at Excel Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Manawatu, you’ll be able to grow in this role as well as developing this area of our service offerings.

As a leading provider of transport temperature control systems, specialising in the servicing, maintenance and repair of truck and trailer refrigeration units. The Transport Refrigeration Technician role offers variety, combining workshop-based tasks with in-field service work, technical variety and strong opportunities to expand your skill set. With ongoing training and development, this position provides a clear pathway for career progression within a specialised and growing industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Commit to health, safety and environment first practices
• Deliver quality client service and experience
• Provide planned preventative maintenance
• Diagnose, repair and solve breakdowns
• Report on work processes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 5+ years related experience preferred
• A qualification in Refrigeration and/or the Diesel Mechanic Trade is preferred but not essential
• An unrestricted driving licence
• Aotearoa New Zealand citizenship or residency
• To be currently living in Aotearoa New Zealand
