Excel Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Manawatu is looking for a qualified Refrigeration & HVAC Technician with great people skills to join our team as our new RAC Service Supervisor.

As our RAC Service Supervisor, you’ll be the go-to person for leading and supporting our busy service team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery across our commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning projects.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Supervise and support a team of RAC technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day service jobs, planned maintenance, and reactive call-outs
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support where needed, including troubleshooting and commissioning
• Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to keep jobs running smoothly
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and industry regulations
• Monitor and report on job progress, technician performance, and service quality
• Assist with scheduling, resourcing, and job allocation
• Support ongoing development and training of the service team
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across service operations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• NZQA L4 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or New Zealand recognised equivalent
• Current Electrical Service Technician (EST) practising Licence
• Approved Fillers Ticket
• A full unrestricted driver licence
• Proven experience in the HVAC & R industry
• To be currently living in Aotearoa New Zealand

Experience working in or with Simpro would be advantageous.
